Right. *scratches head*

This journal is seriously out of action. I um. Sort of gave up Harry Potter. Which is extremely obvious because I haven't really written anything for it in ages while I am churning out anime crap by the dozen. *grins* But it's not like I'm dead or anything, I've just sort of moved away.

Um. TSPers, it is really unfair to you if I pretend I am still in this. If there are any issues, you know my e-mail. But really, I was like the ghost member to begin with, so it's not as if it's anything new that I'm gone. And anyway, I promised Mori that I woudl think it over until spring break? But now that is sort of over and I have less time than I thought I would have.

Right. Anyway. I love all of you guys. I really do.

*hangs up big AWAY sign*

Please tell me there is a community for this kind of wank.

*dies* Oh my god. What a waste of words and icons and time and oh my god. There is no POINT. I cry for the loss of brain cells that went into this. I am so pathetic that I bothered to read some of it.

For Rae and Katie Bec, even though they've long forgotten their request by now. It's kind of rushed and hurried because, well, I didn't think about thinking it out through. But I hope that you guys still like it.

prelude to armistice, epilogue to the eye of the storm: sort of heathcote/merry. from the forgotten world of the weird sisters. at this point in the war heathcote doesn't really remember anything. )

Still one more request to go. *embarassed* I'm sorry.

w-inds. PVs stole my brain. Contrary to what is under this cut, I actually do adore them. Quite a bit. Their songs and their *cough*GAY*cough* videos. )

I've been kind of hyper lately because our school got 27 Japanese exchange students staying with us until the 30th. There are two in my Japanese class: Satoshi and Emi. Emi is 18 and going to go into college, Satoshi is going to be in his second year of high school. (I think Satoshi is kind of cute. Eda thinks it's just the hair. She hasn't heard him talk, evidently. *giggle*). Emi is just so adorable. She's really polite and cute and just so sweet to talk to. They're all fun. My Japanese sucks. >.< But we try to get along. Emi has a picture of two of her exes on her cell phone. One of them is smoking.

So on Monday we had a junk Japanese class where we played pictionary with ridiculous words like New Year's and name. The Japanese kids just stared at us sort of blankly.

Yo, Bing, if you see this, can you bring your camera to school or something? I want to take a few pictures of Satoshi and Emi, but my digital camera is, uh. Well, have you seen it before? It is huge. It is a photographer's camera. Please? *begs*

Anyway. Me = totally hyper. I think they are the coolest thing since sliced bread.

Everyone, go here and download the song "God Thinks" by Voltaire. It's a really interesting song that at first made me laugh my ass off and then go, "Wait", and think about it. The lyrics are basically putting contradictory statements that people claim God thinks and then saying, "I know what God thinks/ God thinks you're an idiot."

It's funny if you're atheist. It's food for thought if you're Christian. And feel free to stone me if you hate the song. I'm a weirdo, I know.

P.S. The lyrics are here in case you don't want to download the song or you just want to read the lyrics some time.

Erin! I got your CD! And I am trying to figure out what music to send you. And if I write you Kabuto/Sasuke to go with your CD, will you wait for it a little longer? *weeps*

Sunny, the model UN thing on next friday will end by 4 at the lastest, contrary to whatever I told you about it before. I was mixing it up with the Thursday events. And I was obviously just dyslexic. Or something.

Bing, I hope you are coming to the 7:00 meeting for parliamentary procedure, because I will be sad if i go then and you are not there. I will bring coffee. Or something.

The truth is I am an art whore.

But I still fell for schism. Even though the art isn't the kind of art that I really like, there's something so loose and bold and just loud about it that I liked. Plus the story is so... so... ohmygodthisislikethematrixorsomethingandohmygodsquee. Although I found myself skimming occasionally. But the artist does this cool thing by inserting flash sequences in the middle, so you get a semi-movie effect, which really works for the computer like programs going all over the place. ANYWAY. It's great. I really recommend it.

If none of you ever knew this, yes, I am a webcomic whore. Or I used to be, anyway. But it's really hell to find a good one that doesn't involve a lot of fantasy. schism is sci-fi, which I always thought was marginally better. Sometimes I want to strangle all the artists who do fantasy comics. Then I realize they are usually a hell of a lot better artists than I am. ^^;;

Hope everyone is happy, healthy, etc.

Today I learned that:

- my laptop is obviously the most crack-pot thing ever invented by man and can't do anything right for the life of it and me
- I am never going to college because my GPA is so low that even the only successful Chinese skater will not compare his GPA to mine after hearing it because it is so low
- I am just a sucker for guitars, semi-normal but at the same time incredibly smooth voices a.k.a. Asian Kung-fu Generation owns my soul
- Prince of Tennis... has stolen every single brain cell available in my mind
- I can always find better things to do than reread Arthur Miller's "All My Sons", even if I do have an ASB competition tomorrow
- insane boyband AU fics are nothing; two math problems can knock me over
- coffee is everything they say it is and more
- cold = evil, oh wait, I already knew this.
- trying to write interesting LJ posts is an art I do not possess
- no one wants to hear me reanact scenes from "All My Sons". Or sing.
- the "evils of unrelatedness" is in no way connected to Arthur Miller's own essay on the same subject, even though they are both about the play "All My Sons". Um.
- I can't sing worth shit picked up from the gutter

Neil Gaiman never stops finding occasions to surprise me with his brilliance. This is from "Fifteen Portraits of Despair", a section in 'Endless Nights', the newest addition to the Sandman:

A) If you can't be happy where you are, you can't be happy anywhere. Discuss, with examples from your own life.

B) Hell is Other People. Do you agree? Demonstrate how this might or might not apply in the case of:

i) The Armenian Massacres of 1915
ii) Either the life of Algernon Charles Swinburne or the death of Walt Disney
iii) the darkness before creation

(Answer two of three.)

C) Construct an analogy using the saline nature of either tears or the sea and the salt that makes a dish palatable and adds piquance and savour.

(Examinees are encourated to refer to either the third daughter of Llyr or Lot's wife, but not both.)

D) If I were God I would abolish...

Complete in 250 words or less. Physical practicalities and human nature are to be respected. The Law of Conservation of Happiness may not be violated.

(Counts for 50% of your final score.)

Edit: Pshaw, Yahoo. Stop trying so hard and just let Google kick your ass already.

I'm really sorry, but are any of you out there computer literate? Because I think there is something very wrong with my computer. I'm using Windows XP. My toolbar likes to play the equivalent of computer freeze tag on me: I click something on it and nothing happens for a long long time. My computer randomly freezes for no particular reason. Even though I have DSL, my download rate is about 9 kb/s, even though webpages load relatively quickly. When I log on my account on Windows XP, it takes about a minute to load everything, which is really disturbing. And things just have a general tendency to shut down lately.

Any ideas?
